Buying Generic Cialis

Cialis® (tadalafil) is a brand-name erectile dysfunction drug. It is also approved to treat enlarged prostate symptoms. It is currently protected by a patent that prevents any generic versions from being made until 2016 at the earliest. However, many people are under the impression that generic Cialis can be bought online. Some Web sites even claim that they sell a generic version of the drug.

Before trying to buy "generic Cialis," it's important to understand that these products have not been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Furthermore, the medication you receive could be expired, contaminated, or counterfeit.

There is also no way to be sure you are getting the correct dosage, or even the right drug. For these reasons, you should not buy anything claiming to be generic Cialis until an approved version is available.

(For more information, click Generic Cialis. This article covers the dangers of buying unapproved medications and explains how tadalafil, the active ingredient, is not the same as generic Cialis.)
