Cialis^®(tadalafil) can potentially interact with a number of other medications. Some possible Cialis drug interactions include:

Alcohol
Alpha blockers for high blood pressure or benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), such as doxazosin (Cardura^®), prazosin (Minipress^®), terazosin (Hytrin^®), tamsulosin (Flomax^®), and alfuzosin (Uroxatral^®)
High blood pressure medicines
Antifungals such as ketoconazole (Nizoral^®), fluconazole (Diflucan^®), or itraconazole (Sporanox^®)
Erythromycin
Grapefruit juice
Nitrates (nitroglycerin is the most common type)
Ritonavir (Norvir^®) or indinavir (Crixivan^®)
Theophylline (Theo-24^®, Uniphyl tablets^®).

Cialis Interactions Explained

Alcohol

It is not recommended that you drink large quantities of alcohol while taking Cialis. Doing so may cause a decrease in blood pressure, an increase in heart rate, dizziness, or headache.
