Enzyte Interactions and Liver Enzymes
Many medications are metabolized (broken down) by enzymes in the liver. There are several different types of these enzymes. Research suggests that ginseng and ginkgo biloba may inhibit the activity of some of these enzymes. This means that Enzyte could increase the level of medications that are normally metabolized by these enzymes, perhaps making them more toxic. Medications that may interact with Enzyte based on changes in liver enzymes include (but are not limited to):
