Cialis (Tadalafil) Medication Information

The prescription drug Cialis® (tadalafil) is commonly used to treat erectile dysfunction (also known as ED). The medicine works by blocking the chemical process that causes blood to flow out of the penis, which leads to an improved erection.

Because certain risks are associated with the use of this drug, it is important to review safety information for Cialis with your healthcare provider before beginning treatment. For example, if you experience a sudden loss of vision, you should seek immediate medical attention. In addition, you should tell your healthcare provider if you have ever had any heart, liver, or kidney problems. In such cases, you may need a lower dosage or a different erectile dysfunction medication.
