Staxyn Medication Information

Available by prescription only, StaxynTM (orally disintegrating vardenafil) is approved to treat erectile dysfunction (ED), also called impotence. It is specifically designed to help a man get and keep an erection firm enough for sexual intercourse.

To reduce your risk of possible drug interactions, make sure your healthcare provider has up-to-date information on any other medications you are taking (including nonprescription drugs and vitamins) before taking Staxyn. Also, you may not be able to use this product if you have other medical conditions, such as a bleeding problem, low blood pressure, or fructose intolerance.

Although many people do not have any problems while taking Staxyn, side effects can occur and may include things like headaches, heartburn, and dizziness. If negative reactions do occur, they tend to be mild and easily treated.

Staxyn comes in the form of an orally disintegrating tablet, and is taken about one hour before sexual activity. Do not take more than one tablet in a 24-hour period.
