Levitra Strengths

Available only by prescription, Levitra® (vardenafil HCl) is a medication commonly used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). Several different strengths of Levitra are available; the one your healthcare provider recommends will depend on various factors, such as your age and other medical conditions you may have.

Although the drug comes in several strengths, Levitra is typically started at 10 mg, taken one hour prior to sexual activity. Depending on how well it works or any side effects you may experience, your healthcare provider may increase or decrease your dosage accordingly.

Regardless of the strength prescribed, this medication should be taken exactly how your healthcare provider recommends. It can be taken with or without food, and should be used no more than once a day.
