Levitra Tabs

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the drug Levitra® (vardenafil HCl) as an erectile dysfunction treatment. It works by inhibiting the chemical process that causes blood to flow out of the penis. More blood in the penis leads to an improved erection. Levitra comes in the form of tabs (tablets) and is typically taken one hour before sexual activity.

When taking Levitra tabs, it is important to take the medicine exactly as your healthcare provider recommends and not take it more than once a day. This will help ensure a safe, effective treatment process.

Depending on how well it works or if you experience bothersome side effects, your healthcare provider may increase or decrease your dosage, respectively. In some cases, one of the Levitra alternatives may even be recommended instead.
