When Should You Take Levitra?

Levitra® (vardenafil HCl) is licensed for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED), also known as impotence. ED is diagnosed when a man has a repeated inability to maintain an erection that is firm enough for sexual intercourse.

You should take Levitra exactly as your healthcare provider advises to ensure a safe, effective treatment process. That means taking the drug an hour before sexual activity. Levitra comes in tablet form and should be swallowed with water.

You can take this ED medication with or without food; however, taking Levitra with a high-fat meal may decrease the amount of medicine in the blood.
