Viagra® is an erectile dysfunction medication available by prescription only. In clinical studies, the drug was shown to improve erections in up to 88 percent of men. It works by blocking a chemical that causes blood to flow out of the penis. Viagra tablets, which are taken as needed, usually begin working within 30 minutes. Potential side effects include indigestion, dizziness, and headache.
