Viagra® is a prescription medication commonly used for treating erectile dysfunction. It works by blocking a chemical that causes blood to flow out of the penis, which can help improve an erection. Viagra tablets are usually taken one hour before sexual activity. For most men, however, the drug begins working within 30 minutes. Side effects may include dizziness, headache, diarrhea, and facial flushing.
